All
degree-seeking students registered at Boise State
University may consider registering for an
internship. Registration for internships is
subject to approval by the student's advisor or the
department Internship Coordinator,
Dr. John Ziker.
Geoarchaeology students should contact
Christopher Hill. The advisor must first
evaluate the work to ensure that it meets department
guidelines and help the student decide how many
credits the internship should be assigned.
Students earn one credit for each 45 hours of work.
Anthropology majors may take no more than 6 hours of internship credits. The
Internship Application for Academic Credit form can
be found online at
Internship Application for Academic Credit.
Please complete this online form and make an
appointment with your advisor to finalize the
process. Once The Internship Application for
Academic Credit form has been completed with all
appropriate signatures, the original form must be
taken to the Registrar's Office, Room 110,
Administration Building in order to be registered
for academic credit. It is important to
complete this paperwork before actual work on the
internship begins.
Example
anthropology internship opportunities are available
in a binder in the department office. The
department will not approve internships beyond the
first two weeks of the semester.
