Anthropology Club Clothing Drive

The clothing drive was a HUGE success! The folks at the International Rescue Committee were very thankful for our large donation of clothing and coats. Thanks to all who generously contributed time and clothing articles. We couldn't have done it without you!

This year the Anthropology Club is sponsoring a clothing drive for the International Rescue Committee in Boise. Your donation of clothes (especially coats and winter clothing) is desperately needed by refugees from around the world who are now living in Boise. Many of these refugees have come from warm climates and do not have appropriate clothing for the cold winter months ahead. This year there is an especially great need for coats. Clothing donations of all kinds will be accepted in the Anthropology Department (There is a box for donations) now through November 7th.

Danskin Rockshelter Outing Pictorial

On Saturday, September 27th, the Anthropology Club hosted a fall outing on the South Fork of the Boise River near an important archaeological site, Danskin Rockshelter. Students looked at the pictographs and heard a brief informative talk about the site history.
