My interests are in archaeology and geoarchaeology of hunter gatherer groups in Africa and the Americas. I am interested in how climate and environment have shaped technological advancements and settlement patterns. My undergraduate research focused on using geoarchaeology and geophysical methods to locate and map buried sites. This helped us study landscape and settlement patterns of Native American moundbuilding groups.
